What is it about our God that He likes to hide things?

Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you:  For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.  Matthew 7:7,8 KJV

Why does God hide things?  Because He’s not going to give pearls to swine.  He’s not going to give precious things to the ‘casual Christian’.

Give not that which is holy unto the dogs, neither cast ye your pearls before swine, lest they trample them under their feet, and turn again and rend you.  Matthew 7:6 KJV

God is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.

But without faith it is impossible to please him:   for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.  Hebrews 11:6 KJV

God likes to hide things, but He doesn’t hide things from us, He hides things for us.

God has hidden treasure in His Word, but it’s up to us to find it,  to search it out.

It’s like mining for gold.  We must get into His Word and mine for those golden nuggets of truth.

It takes us setting aside time to find God’s hidden treasures, but it is well worth it.

Only by reading, studying and meditating upon God’s Word will we find the secrets to successful living, which is God’s Kingdom way of operating here on earth.

Most Christians will not take the time to study God’s Word and therefore, they will not possess God’s best.  I call them the ‘casual Christian’ because they are not earnestly, or diligently seeking after the things of God.  They are not seeking to see who they are in Christ, or what they actually possess in Christ.  The ‘casual Christian’ is opposite of the ‘consecrated Christian’.

God has so many good gifts for the ‘consecrated Christian’ such as:

  • peace
  • joy
  • prosperity
  • health
  • success
  • wisdom
  • promotion
  • favor
  • family
  • friends
  • purpose
  • hope
  • eternal life

These are just a few of the many benefits of a ‘consecrated Christian’.

God knows the end from the beginning.  He says He is Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end.  He starts at the end and works His way back.

God has a good plan for you, an expected end, and He planned it before you were even born.  He knows the end result of your beginning.

For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.  Jeremiah 29:11 KJV

God is not walking through time with you.  He’s outside of time and watching you walk through it.

Your surprise does not surprise Him, or catch Him off guard.  He’s guiding you through life and you will be successful, if you keep your eyes on Him.  He’s already worked all things out for your good. ( Romans 8:28)

We’re waiting on tomorrow and God says, “I’ve already done it!”  If, He’s already done it, then we’ve already got it!

God sees your whole life.  He tells us to take no thought for tomorrow.  Why?  Because He’s already in our tomorrow and it’s going to be okay.

What has He started in you?

Whatever He’s started, He will finish it.  He’s already finished it or He never would have started it.  God doesn’t start until He finishes.  When He says it… it’s so.  What He starts…He will complete.

We worry, fret and pray in panic.  We don’t have to get bent out of shape!  God is in control, so we just need to trust Him and rely on the Holy Spirit to reveal the hidden things of God to us.  The Holy Spirit is our access into the supernatural.

Only the Holy Ghost knows the mind of Christ.  He will reveal Him to us and God will complete His good plan for your life.  You’re destined to succeed!
