There’s something magical about this time of year…the lights, the tree, the decorations, the music, the food, the gifts, the giggles, the glee. No other time of year fills us with this feeling of joy, contentment and hopeful expectation.
Christmas is magical because a young Virgin gives birth to our Savior…the King of Kings…in a lowly manger. Lowly Shepherds learn of His birth, announced by a Heavenly choir of angels. The Magi follow His star from the East. Herod plotted to kill Him but He is supernaturally delivered by a dream.
Christmas is magical because the Son of God…Emmanuel…comes from the realms of Glory to live and dwell among us, dies on an old rugged cross, is buried but rises again to give us a hope and a future. Christ came! May the peace of Christ be with you today and Merry Christmas!
