Trials are the vehicle which drive us closer to our goals and our destination.  Though they are unpleasant and often times painful, trials ultimately serve to make us spiritually stronger and better equipped to bless the Body of Christ.

I’ve heard people testify that although having cancer was the toughest thing they ever went through in their life, they wouldn’t take anything for the lessons learned, the people they met and the opportunity they had to bless others.  This horrible disease actually brought them closer to God and strengthened their inner man.

I just recently finished a book about the life of a Minister who was sentenced to 45 years in prison.  His story describes the dark days of depression he suffered as a result of being locked behind bars.  His soul seemed to be locked behind bars also.  He wondered if God had forgotten about Him.  This man lost his ministry, his wife, his health, his wealth, his friends and thought his life was over in every way, but through the isolation he dug into the Word of God and found a new found faith in His God.  As a result God eventually restored everything…EVERYTHING back to him.  That’s what my God can do.  He is a restorer!

Whatever you may be going through, just know that God is with you.  He hasn’t forsaken you and know that you can grow through whatever you’re going through.  You will come out victorious and stronger than ever.  DON’T GIVE UP!

The devil will lie to you and tell you it’s all over.  He wants you to throw up your hands and quit.  Don’t surrender to him.   Stay with God and His Word…He will deliver you!

Be strong and of a good courage, fear not, nor be afraid of them:  for the Lord thy God, he it is that doth go with thee; he will not fail thee, nor forsake thee.  Deuteronomy 31:6 KJV

Trials can grow your faith and work to your advantage!

Keep the faith,
