A Blessing in Disguise

Are you frustrated because that one thing you desire is always out of your reach? 

Don’t be!  Maybe, just maybe God has closed the door on your desire because it’s not His desire. 

Some of you keep standing outside that door knocking and knocking, but it’s not opening…why?   It’s because God has something better for you!

God’s plan is way better than your plan.  He knows what’s best for you.  He knows the beginning from the end.

“For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways,” declares the LORD.  Isaiah 55:8 NIV

If you’ve been striving and striving to make something work but it’s just not working, it’s time to get alone with God in prayer and seek His face.  Ask Him, “God, what do you want for my life?  What is your plan?”  Then, submit your will to His will and trust Him to bring His plan to pass in your life.

God knows what’s best for you.  We are finite beings, but He is infinite in power and in wisdom.  He is Almighty God, Creator of heaven and earth.

David, was just a lowly shepherd boy, sitting on the hillside watching his father’s sheep and writing music, but God saw a King.

Joseph was a dreamer, but God saw a deliverer.

Impetuous Peter was a rugged fisherman, but God saw him as a pillar of the church.

You may see yourself one way, but God sees you another way.  He sees more in you than you see in yourself.  You may be limiting yourself, but God wants to take the limits off and make you into more than you ever dreamed possible.

Let go and let God have His way with you. 

Be the clay in the Potter’s hand.  Let Him mold you and make you into what He wants you to be.

And the vessel that he made of clay was marred in the hand of the potter:  so he made it again another vessel, as seemed good to the potter to make it.  Jeremiah 18:4 KJV

Trust God.  Let Him have His way with you.  You will be amazed at what He can do with a lump of clay…you.   He will take you places you never dreamed possible and make your life successful!
